Saint Steve

In response to me turning off Steve Irwin's Crocodile Hunter before the show had ended, the six year old I babysit for said the following:

"I hate my life."

and later,

"Injustice!" (with tears and a power fist raised)

I have been keeping up the ruse that Steve Irwin is alive and well for many months, for this little boy's sake, mostly because he made Steve Irwin his imaginary friend. Then his mom told me that they had explained his death to him, and that he has since been praying to Steve Irwin.

I really should have let him watch to the end of the episode, I guess.
